Printable 14-Player Round Robin Pickleball Schedule
Fourteen is three courts with two players left over, so two sit each round and everyone ends up with twelve games and two byes, never back to back. The partner rotation comes within one of complete — each player partners twelve of the other thirteen, and no pairing repeats anywhere on the sheet. Save it as a PDF to print, or enter the fourteen names in the free DillDraw round robin generator and keep the two byes per round straight on a phone.
Fill any of these in and the schedule below updates automatically — leave any blank to keep its letter. Saved on this device so it's still here next time.
Twelve partners out of thirteen
Fourteen people make ninety-one possible pairs. Three courts produce six partnerships a round, so fourteen rounds offer eighty-four slots — seven short of the full set. Those seven missing pairs spread out so that every player is exactly one partner short, and it is a different person for each.
Two people sit each round, seven rounds apart in the rotation, so the byes are as even as the arithmetic allows and nobody sits in consecutive rounds.
Opponents come close to complete but not quite: almost every pair meets across the net at some point, with a single pair that never does across the fourteen rounds. Partner balance is what matters in a social session; opponent spread is what is left over once the partner rotation is fixed.
Fourteen games to 11 runs about three and a half hours. No partnership repeats anywhere, so stopping after round eight still leaves everyone with eight games and eight different partners.
If someone doesn't show, or a fifteenth turns up
Down to thirteen before you start, switch to the thirteen-player schedule. It is one round shorter, keeps twelve games each, sits one person a round instead of two, and makes the partner rotation complete, with every pair partnering once.
A fifteenth adds a third chair. Fifteen players sit three per round over fifteen rounds, close to four hours, and each player partners twelve of the other fourteen rather than twelve of thirteen. Games stay at twelve; the bench just gets busier.
If one of the fourteen leaves partway through, there are always two players resting, so one steps in. Write the stand-in's name on that match so the standings account for the extra game.
Fourteen on three courts gives twelve games each with two players sitting per round. Organizing a pickleball mixer covers the logistics of a group this size, where the bench is large enough to become its own conversation.
Fourteen is a common turnout for a work or community event. Work and charity pickleball tournaments covers capacity, budget, and why a round robin like this one keeps beginners playing where a bracket would send them home.
