The single bye is the whole problem
With nine people and eight court spots, one player is always out. Managed by hand, that bye tends to drift — the same two or three people end up sitting repeatedly, usually whoever happened to be standing nearest the clipboard. This sheet fixes it by moving the bye one position per round, so the sit-out order is A through I and every player sits exactly once across the nine rounds.
The partner side works out completely too. Nine players make thirty-six possible pairs, and nine rounds of two matches fill thirty-six partner slots, so you play once with each of the other eight and never twice with anyone.
Opponents work out completely as well. Across the nine rounds every pair of players meets as opponents exactly twice — no gaps in the grid, and nobody you end up facing five or six times. The bye rotation, the partner rotation and the opponent balance are all exact at the same time.
Nine rounds runs a bit over two hours at social pace. If that is longer than your session, stopping after round five leaves everyone with at least four games, four different partners and nobody faced more than twice.
